Students Excel in 2024 Math Competition

Wow, what an incredible accomplishment for UCMAS BC!

All the BC Centres UCMAS Burnaby UCMAS Coquitlam UCMAS Vancouver UCMAS Richmond BC & UCMAS Surrey performed exceeding well with 57% of the students winning at the national level.

Congratulations to the Center Managers, Instructors & the students for the excellent performance.

We are thrilled to announce that our centre has excelled this year at the Competition, with outstanding results that have truly set us apart.

This year, we had

- 3 Grand Champions, this award was instituted in 2024

- 7 Champions, and

- a total of 54 trophies – first for the centre to surpass 50

Not only that, but we also achieved a total of 121 awards, including Merits – the highest in Canada amongst over 100 centres!

And what's even more impressive is that Richmond students made up 4% of the total students (4,300+) in the competition, but 75% of our Richmond students competing won at the National level, the highest in the entire country!

We want to extend a huge thank you to our dedicated parents, teachers, and most importantly, our amazing students for their hard work and commitment.

We will continue to celebrate these incredible achievements over the rest of June by highlighting the individual successes of these students.
